At True Talent, we believe dance competition should be more than a performance, it should be an opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired.

As we celebrate our 15th Anniversary Season, we are proud to reflect on the vision that started it all. Founded by Kiera Regan McCaffery, a lifelong dancer, educator, and former studio owner, True Talent was created with one goal: to bring education and competition together in a meaningful way.

For 15 years, that vision has guided our mission:

We believe the competition stage should be an extension of the classroom. Through knowledgeable adjudication, live critiques, thoughtful video feedback, educational opportunities, and inspiring dance educators, we strive to give dancers and teachers something valuable to take home from every True Talent experience.

We also understand everything that happens before a dancer ever steps onstage, the hours in the studio, the dedication of their teachers, the support of their families, and the courage it takes to perform. We believe that hard work deserves to be met with encouragement, respect, professionalism, and care.

Our team is committed to creating events that are organized, welcoming, and focused on the dancer experience. We want teachers to feel supported, families to feel welcome, and dancers of all ages and levels to feel seen, celebrated, and inspired to keep growing.

Fifteen years later, True Talent continues to evolve, but the heart of who we are has never changed.
