Title Pageant
Title Program
At True Talent, our Title Pageant celebrates dancers who shine both on and off the stage—combining performance, personality, and professionalism.
Eligibility & Entry
Any Advanced Soloist may enter one solo into the Title Pageant.
- Title solos compete during the regular competition schedule and do not re-compete.
- Title contestants are eligible for overall high score awards.
- Dancers may enter only one title division—either Mr./Miss Title or Triple Threat.
Title Competition Components
The Title Competition is made up of three parts:
- Title Class
- Interview with Headshot
- Pageant Presentation
Winners are determined by the highest combined score from all three elements—Title Class, Interview, and Solo. All contestants must participate in each portion at the scheduled time.
Attire Requirements
- Title Class: Dancewear
- Interview: Business Casual
- Crowning: Semi-Formal or Formal Attire
Note: National Title Holders may not compete for Title at Regionals or Nationals the following season.
Triple Threat Award
The Triple Threat recognizes exceptional versatility across dance styles.
To qualify, dancers must perform three entries with the same dancers in three different categories (for example: Ballet, Tap, and Open).
- Scores from all three routines are combined.
- The highest combined total earns the Triple Threat Title.
- Eligible divisions: Advanced Junior, Teen, and Senior.
- Dancers who win the Triple Threat Title are not eligible for Mr. or Miss Title in the same season.
Triple Threat contestants are invited to the Title Pageant Crowning and should wear Semi-Formal or Formal attire.
